Terms of Service

Last updated: November 4, 2026

These terms describe how the Low Grid website at lowgrid.app and the Low Grid mobile app (together, “Low Grid” or “the service”) may be used.

By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Low Grid is

Low Grid shows day-ahead electricity spot prices for Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland. It turns the prices into price levels and the cheapest charging or heating windows, calculates an estimated cost with your supplier's tariff, and can switch supported devices in return for a Premium subscription.

The service is a consumer information tool. It is not an electricity supplier, a metering service or a financial adviser, and it does not sell electricity to you.

2. Licence to use the service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and limited licence to use the Low Grid apps, website and connected device integrations for your own private use, subject to these terms and to the rules of the App Store, Google Play or the store you downloaded the app from.

The software, the website, the Low Grid name and logo, and the text, design and content of the service belong to the Low Grid team or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from any part of the service, except where the law expressly permits it.

The licence ends when you stop using the service, when your account is closed, or when these terms end.

3. Accounts and sign-in

You can use price levels, windows and tariff information without an account. An account is needed for push alerts and Premium features. Accounts are created through Supabase using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google or an e-mail one-time link.

You are responsible for keeping access to your e-mail account and your Apple or Google account secure, and for activity under your Low Grid account. Tell us at support@lowgrid.app if you believe your account has been misused.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Price information and estimates

Spot prices come from ENTSO-E and, where ENTSO-E data is unavailable, from Elering. Prices can be delayed, incomplete or wrong at the source. Tariff components, taxes and grid fees are configured from the supplier and plan you choose and may not reflect your latest contract.

Savings and cost figures are estimates, not bills, and they are not a promise that you will save a particular amount. Always check your supplier's invoice and your electricity meter. Low Grid gives no financial, investment or energy-savings guarantee, and is not liable for decisions you take based on a price level, a cheapest window or an estimated saving.

5. Devices, integrations and automations

Automations can send commands to devices you connect through Shelly, Home Assistant or a generic webhook. You are responsible for those devices, their wiring, their settings and anything they control. Only connect devices you own or are authorised to control.

Automations depend on your network, the device vendor and the price feed. A command may arrive late, fail or run when you did not expect it. Keep a safe fallback for heating, hot water and charging equipment, and do not use Low Grid for devices where a missed or late command could cause damage, injury or a safety risk.

6. Premium subscription and payment

Premium is sold as a monthly plan (€2.99 per month) or a yearly plan (€19.99 per year), each with a 7-day free trial where the store offers one. The price shown in the App Store, Google Play or the Stripe checkout is authoritative; the prices on this website are indicative and may change.

Purchases made in the mobile app are billed by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat. Purchases made on the web for the mobile app are billed by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price until you cancel it.

You can cancel at any time in the App Store, Google Play or the Stripe billing portal where you bought the subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next renewal; if you cancel earlier, you keep access until that period ends. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not by itself refund the current period. Refunds are handled by the store or payment provider under its rules.

If a paid period ends without a renewal confirmation, Premium may continue for up to three days as a grace period so a missed store notification does not cut access immediately.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: do not try to access other users' accounts or data, probe or overload our systems, scrape the price feed, bypass the Premium gate, or use automations to control devices you are not allowed to control.

We may suspend an account that puts the service or other users at risk.

8. Availability and third-party price data

We aim to keep the service available, but it is provided without a service-level commitment and we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely or error-free operation. We may change, suspend or withdraw a feature, and we may take the service down for maintenance.

Prices and tariff data come from third parties — ENTSO-E, Elering and the supplier information you configure. The service cannot show or automate anything while those sources are delayed or unavailable, and their data may be incomplete or wrong.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Low Grid is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost savings, damage to devices, or costs caused by a late, missing or incorrect price, automation or notification.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or is used in a way that harms the service or another person.

When an account is deleted, we delete or anonymise the related data as described in the Privacy Policy, except records we must keep by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator of Low Grid is established. Whatever that law says, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you reside, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim before the competent courts of your place of residence, and we may bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence or of the operator's establishment.

Before starting a formal dispute, contact us at support@lowgrid.app so we can try to resolve it.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material, we will announce it in the app or by e-mail before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Contact

Low Grid is operated by the Low Grid team. For any question about these terms, the service or your account, write to support@lowgrid.app. Privacy questions and data-protection requests go to the same address.
